Found disoriented and malnourished/Brown gold rescued 

A brown bear has been rescued after it was found struggling for days with a large plastic barrel stuck in its head, The Mirror reports .

The starving male was found thrashing about on the rocks, wriggling from side to side. Local Borja Martínez encountered the bear while taking a morning walk on September 13.

He immediately notified the Brown Bear Foundation (FOP). The bear was found near Anllares del Sil, northwest of Madrid, Spain.

Borja told local media: "The animal was disoriented."

Vets arrived on the scene and sedated the bear, putting it to sleep for 12 minutes.

The bear had stayed for several days without eating or drinking water.
