The removal of bodies from the crashed plane in Brazil begins

Civil defense teams in Brazil worked through the night to extricate the bodies of dead passengers from a plane that crashed Friday in Sao Paolo.

As a result, all 62 people on board have died.

The governor of San Paolo has said that the bodies of at least 21 people have been recovered, and all have been taken to the police morgue.

The regional airline, Voepass, said there were 57 passengers and four crew members on the plane, but on Saturday the company said the total number of victims was 62.

The position of the dead bodies, physical characteristics, documents, and all other things, such as phones, are being used for identification, said the firefighter, Maycon Cristo, in the area of ??the incident.

Relatives of the victims have left for Sao Paolo to help with identification.

The plane was headed from Cascavel to Sao Paolo, and crashed in the town of Vinhedo, about 80 kilometers northwest of Sao Paolo.

The Franco-Italian company, ATR, which is owned by giants Airbus and Leononardo, is the manufacturer of the type of plane that crashed.
