The White House has released a series of political digital postcards on social media for Valentine's Day. Each postcard depicts a significant event or decision from US President Donald Trump's second term.

With the inscription "Made just for you," the postcards transform political moments into an ironic message for Valentine's Day.

The first shows former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro blindfolded and handcuffed. The caption on the photo reads: "You stole my heart."

Another postcard shows Trump holding a document labeled "Executive Order 4547," with the message "You are my Valentine" written on it.

The third shows Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen having drinks with suspected MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. The card reads: "My love for you is as strong as Democrats' love for illegal immigrants. I would fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you."

In March, Garcia was wrongly sent back to a prison in his home country, even though a 2019 court order said he could not be deported because he could be in danger. The Trump administration alleged he was in the MS-13 gang and was later brought back to the U.S. to face charges of aiding undocumented immigrants.

Another postcard shows a heart-shaped map of Greenland. The card refers to Trump's controversial push and desire to annex the Danish territory, which European leaders have strongly opposed. "It's time to define our situation," the postcard reads. /CNA
