Negotiations with Serbia, Osmani: States are not being treated equally, no one
Vjosa Osmani, President of Kosovo

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, stated this Friday that the negotiations with Serbia have stalled because the countries are not being treated equally.

Speaking from the Security Summit in Prague, Osmani mentioned Serbia's unfulfilled commitments from the dialogue process, while emphasizing that Kosovo has fulfilled all its duties.

"If we look at the list of commitments that Serbia has not fulfilled, it is very long, it would take us until tomorrow to read it. It's easy to confirm, don't believe my interpretation. Choose any agreement, be it the agreement on free movement, the agreement on the recognition of diplomas, the recognition of other and other documents, none of them have been implemented, not even the one that obliges Serbia to remove the illegal parallel structures from Kosovo, but first in the north. But what has happened is that instead of removing them, Serbia has continuously strengthened them to the extent that these illegal structures have turned into mafia gangs and have become the greatest danger for the Serbs of the north", she said.

Osmani added that despite Serbia's actions and non-fulfillment of commitments, Kosovo is being kept under measures.

"Despite all this and the list of non-implementation by Serbia, find out which party is under EU measures. It is the side that is 100% in line with the EU, the side that never receives weapons from Russia, China or Iran, it is the side that 95% of its people are in favor of the EU, the side that has never committed act of aggression against its neighbors, which does not destabilize its neighbors, which does not use Russian MIGs to fly over its neighbors, this is the side that is under measures. It is Kosovo. Therefore the table is turned upside down. When you don't have equality at the foundation of any negotiation process, no one should dream of tangible results that can be implemented on the ground," she said./CNA
