Israeli Foreign Minister: There was a $10 million bounty on Ali Larijani's

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar held a press conference today, where he spoke about the elimination of Iran's Security Chief, Ali Larijani.

The minister referred to the $10 million that Washington had announced last week for information that would lead to the secretary of Iran's Security Council, as well as other senior officials.

"There was a $10 million bounty on Larijani's head, while we did it for free," Saar emphasized, confirming the neutralization of a very important figure in the Iranian regime.

A few days ago, the State Department announced that through the US State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program, it would offer up to $10 million to those who would provide information on "Iranian leaders of terrorist organizations." The informants would be selected for relocation, possibly outside of Iran as protected witnesses.

Among the officials for whom the US was seeking information, in addition to Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, were:

- Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib,
- Deputy Chief of General Staff Ali Asghar Hejazi
- Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi
- Brigadier General Esqandar Momeni
- Secretary of the Supreme Council Ali Larijani. /CNA
