The Minister of Internal Affairs of the Government of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, has announced that one of the leaders of the group that attacked the journalists of the Kallxo medium, in Leposavic, on May 29, has just been arrested.
"Nemanja Vlaskovic will face justice for the attacks against our journalists. All attackers and criminals will be brought to justice, there is no alternative", Sveçla wrote on Facebook.
He congratulated the Kosovo Police for their work in the investigation and arrest of the suspected attacker of journalists.
Attacks on journalists in the northern municipalities of Kosovo have increased in recent weeks, while they are reporting on the developments in this part of the country.
On June 16, journalists were attacked again in Leposaviç, while they were covering the visit of the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Elbert Krasniqi, to the mayor of Leposaviç, Lulzim Hetemi.
The Association of Journalists of Kosovo has announced that during the recent tensions in the north of Kosovo, there have been 28 attacks against media teams./ REL
