LVV proposed a new candidate for Speaker of the Parliament/ The session fails

Today, the next session was held to elect the Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, proposed by the Kurti government.

The candidacy was again not approved by a majority of votes, while the new candidate from LVV, Donika Gërvalla, was also introduced.

Once again, the candidacy was rejected by not being voted on in the Assembly, leading to the failure of the next parliamentary session.

We recall that the deadline initially set by the Constitution ended, while 30 days were made available from August 18 for the election of the Speaker of the Assembly./ CNA
