The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has rejected a governing coalition with the Vetëvendosje Movement, while calling for a transitional government until the election of the country's president in 2026.
The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, in a press conference on Tuesday, said that they have the same stance against the governing coalition with the LVV, KosovaPress reports.
As reported by local media outlet KosovaPress, following Kurti's third invitation for a governing coalition, he mentioned the need to form a transitional government, but added that there should be unifying names.
Abdixhiku said that he has presented this idea to other party leaders in Kosovo.
The leader of the Vetevendosje Movement (LVV), who is also the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, wrote a letter to the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) on May 5, inviting him to reach a political agreement between the two parties.
The letter was made public after the failure of the 11th attempt to constitute the Assembly. /CNA
