Kurti and Vu?i? "face off" on Tuesday in Skopje

Western Balkan leaders and European Union representatives discuss the implementation of the Growth Plan for the region at a two-day summit taking place today, June 30 and July 1 in Skopje.

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will be among the speakers at this summit.

This evening, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski hosts a formal dinner with regional leaders and European officials at the “Winery Kamnik”. Meanwhile, ministers and implementing partners will attend a parallel dinner in the same venue.

The main part of the meeting takes place on July 1 at the Hilton Double Tree Hotel, where the main focus is on the assessment of the Growth Plan, proposals for new initiatives and economic cooperation through the Regional Common Market. The summit includes two discussion panels and will conclude with a press conference and official lunch.

Present are leaders such as the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama, the acting Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, the Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajic, and the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krishto, along with representatives of the EU, EBRD, WB, and regional organizations.
