Skopje to host EU and Western Balkans leaders' meeting

On Monday and Tuesday next week, Skopje will host a meeting of leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans, dedicated to the Growth Plan, in which EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, will also participate.

The government press service announced that Kos will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski on Monday, followed by a bilateral meeting with expanded delegations.

On Tuesday, two panels will be held, the first of which will be dedicated to the Growth Plan for the Western Balkans, where Mickoski and Kos will address the participants, followed by a press conference.

The second panel will be dedicated to specific mechanisms and support for the implementation of the Growth Plan, with the participation of ministers, EU representatives, regional organizations and international partners.

The European Commission announced two days ago that Kos will travel to Skopje to meet with leaders of the Western Balkans and that, in addition to Mickoski, the meeting will be attended by the leaders of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro. /CNA
