Kosovo receives unmanned combat aircraft from the US/ Macedonia: We increase the

Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, has announced that Kosovo has received "Puma" unmanned combat aircraft from the USA.

The Macedonian has announced that payment for the procurement of combat aircraft has been made since 2021 and that the weapons serve to increase the capacities and capabilities of the KSF in the field of unmanned aerial systems.

"Last week we received the AeroVironment RQ-20 Puma unmanned aerial vehicles procured from the United States of America.

The Ministry of Defense has procured the Puma Unmanned Aerial Vehicles from the United States through a state-to-state program known as Foreign Military Sale (FMS). Payment for this system was made in 2021.

Puma aircraft, along with other aircraft, are another necessary capacity to increase the KSF's capabilities in the field of unmanned aerial systems.

"Cooperation with the US in the field of defense is constantly deepening and expanding, contributing to the development of our army as well as to the achievement of the common interests of our two countries," Macedonia writes in its announcement.

Last year, the country requested the purchase of 200 more Javelin anti-aircraft missiles and is now making payments for them./ CNA
