Cannabis-packaged sweets such as Haribo and Skittles are being widely sold and promoted on major social media sites such as Instagram and Tik Tok, Sky news reports.

Police warn that fake drug packaging makes them attractive to children. 

At least six children were taken to hospital after eating the cannabis sweets, with one of them just eight years old.

There are also concerns that the drug is being used to lure children into drug trafficking through a system known as county lines.
