The voting process for the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo is still ongoing. Overall, the process has been conducted peacefully and without serious problems.

Meanwhile, an incident has been reported at one of the polling stations in Prizren. According to information, a 75-year-old man was escorted to the police station after allegedly tearing up his wife's ballot after he was not allowed to help her cast her vote.

His escort was also confirmed by the police spokesman for the Prizren region, Shaqir Bytyqi.

"He is currently being interviewed by decision of the prosecutor, we are waiting to see what will be decided next ," he stated.

It is reported that the detainee is suspected of the criminal offense of "Destruction of voting documents", under Article 217 of the Criminal Code. /CNA
