Elon Musk: AI and robotics will eliminate the US's $38.34 trillion debt within 3 years

For billionaire Elon Musk, the solution to the US's massive $38.34 trillion debt is the increased productivity that artificial intelligence and robotics will bring.

In a conversation with investor Nikhil Kamath, Musk said that Artificial Intelligence is the only way for the American economy to escape the debt crisis.

The founder of Tesla and the "X" platform noted that AI has not yet increased productivity above inflation, but according to him, this will change soon.

Within three years, he estimates, the production of goods and services will outpace the rate of price increases. In recent weeks, Musk has presented a sweeping vision of the economy of the future.

At Tesla's annual meeting, he argued that the robot Optimus could eliminate poverty and the need for human labor.

At the US-Saudi Arabia Investment Forum, he said that in the future money will no longer be important, as the real frontiers will be energy and matter. /CNA
