Zelensky calls Rutte: Important days for Ukraine, many things will change

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation this Sunday with NATO chief Mark Rutte.

As Zelensky announced via social media, the phone call with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte focused on the importance of joint actions by allied partners at this time of negotiations for the country.

Zelensky said that he had already discussed it with NATO Secretary General Rutte and that new negotiations are expected in the coming days. According to him, this period is particularly important and future decisions can significantly affect the situation and that Ukraine is closely coordinating its actions with partners.

"These are important days and many things can change. We are closely coordinating and in our actions, as well as in the actions of all partners, joint measures and common positions will be especially effective," Zelensky said.

Earlier, Zelensky spoke by phone with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. He stressed full coordination with the EU and continued support. According to the president, the parties discussed the diplomatic situation and have a common view on key issues./ CNA
