A 52-year-old man was extradited from France to Albania. The 52-year-old extradited, whose nickname was "Bebi", is the Albanian citizen F. Xh., 52 years old, resident in Fier.

His arrest was made thanks to the cooperation of Interpol Tirana with Interpol Lyon, France

For this citizen, GJKKO, with the decision dated 19.07.2021, has set the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Trafficking in narcotics", "Structured criminal group" and "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organizations and organized criminal group".

He, in cooperation with other persons, organized in the form of a structured criminal group, is suspected of being involved in the trafficking of the narcotic substance heroin, transporting it between Greece, Albania, and partly also in North Macedonia.

It is suspected that he was involved in three different episodes of this criminal activity during 2016, two of which remained pending.

From the investigations and coordinated actions between the Albanian and Greek judicial authorities, it has become possible to seize about 27 kg of heroin. 

The extradited citizen was handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons for further action./ CNA
