Brënabi? is mandated as Prime Minister of the new Serbian Government

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, said on August 27 that he nominates Ana Brnabic for the post of Prime Minister of the new Government of Serbia.

At a press conference in Belgrade, Vu?i? said that the decision on the new Government representative was a complicated decision.

He said that Bërnabiq will not be in charge of the executive for a full term and warned that in 2024 there will be changes in the Serbian Government.

However, the Serbian president did not specify what changes there will be in the Serbian Government.

"Ana now has important tasks," said Vucic.

Bërnabiq was at the head of the Serbian Government in the last mandate and was mandated by the ruling party, the Serbian Progressive Party.

The Serbian government is elected in the Assembly after the proposal of the candidate for prime minister. The Assembly then votes for the election of the governing cabinet.

The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) together with its traditional partner, the Socialist Party of Serbia, have a majority in the Assembly.

Vucic said that he expects the Government to be formed in the next 20 days.

He announced that the mayor of Novi Sad, Milosh Vu?evi?, from the SNS, will be deputy prime minister, while Ivica Da?i? from the Socialist Party will have a very important role in the Government and will be the coordinator of security services./ Rel
