Tourism has an even wider effect if we look at the impact on other related support industries such as car rental, marine industry, wineries. During the year 2022, but especially during the year 2023, the effect of tourism in these sectors has been obvious. Specifically, in the summer of 2023, it was almost impossible to find rental cars as the companies operating in this sector had a large increase in their fleet. Likewise, as an effect of demand, the price also increased.

The wineries, on the other hand, confirm that the consumption has been extraordinary, especially as an effect of tourism, and that it is precisely this industry that is promoting their growth, which without it would be much slower./ Monitor.al
