The coordinator for the Economic Program in DP, Dorian Teliti, has criticized the government for the failure of the sovereign guarantee of 40 million euros for the fashion industry, stressing that many Albanian producers have gone bankrupt and tens of thousands of jobs have been lost.

He has asked for a package of financial support for businesses and has denounced the lack of reporting by the government to hide the failure.

Teliti has warned of the deepening of the economic crisis.

The failure announced by the sovereign guarantee for fashions, bankruptcy was the predetermined fate of many Albanian producers!

????Fact 1: A year ago (from the PD headquarters with an official statement) we asked the government to put its finger on the head and urgently draw up a direct financial support package (especially against the negative effects of the devaluation of the euro ), as bankruptcies were numerous among manufacturers and thousands were being added to the long line of unemployment and poverty.

????Fact 2: The government, after being silent for several months (watching with a smile while the bankrupt businesses increased), instead of providing direct financial assistance, designs and approves a sovereign guarantee scheme of 40 million euros, which until today, as we warned, "NO RESULTS DID NOT GIVE", on the contrary.

????Fact 3: The government has not published any report on the progress of this guarantee, as this is the only way it is trying to hide its failure and abandonment turned into government policy.

????Result: The rulers did not lose, nor their import businesses or those related to them. Albanians lost, producers lost, exporters lost, employees lost.

????There is no other solution except political change in terms of affairs, otherwise the crisis will become so deep that there will be few who will want to live or build their lives in our country./ CNA
