Panicked by SPAK's investigations/ Tirana Municipality starts cleaning,

SPAK is investigating several corruption cases in which the Municipality of Tirana is involved.

About two months ago, nearly two truckloads of documents were seized by BKH officers on several matters that are under investigation. ( Read here )

Meanwhile, the opposition has raised the alarm that employees of the Municipality of Tirana are destroying other documents related to the corruption of the directors of Erion Veliajt.

The Political Leader of the DP for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, denounced that the directors of Veliaj are filling out documents from the prison that bear dates from years ago in order to interfere with the protocol. ( Read here )

This Thursday, CNA has provided a video, where it can be seen that some materials are being removed from the Municipality of Tirana.

In the picture, it can be seen that some boxes and computers are being attached to the truck.

We remind you that several directors of Erion Veliaj have been arrested for the affairs, while other security measures are expected to be issued by special prosecutors.

One of the biggest issues is that of the incinerators, followed by the "5D" file, for which close associates of Erion Veliaj are behind bars. ( Read here )

Other issues under investigation are the demolition of the Theater, the construction of "5 Maji" and the towers in Tirana.
