According to the complaint from the documentation and verifications carried out on the ground, two of the bridges for which funding is requested result in fictitious requests, which do not correspond to the current reality.

The draft decision (no. 5893/1 prot., dated 5.12.2025) provides for investments in bridges in the administrative units of Lekbibaj, Margegaj and Tropoja e Vjetër, which the Municipality justifies as damaged by rainfall.

From the accompanying documents it results that the working group for ascertaining the damages was established by order no. 5599 prot., dated 18.11.2025, signed by the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality, Abedin Kerrnaja.

On the same date, the act-findings, projects and estimates for all bridges were drafted, a fact that raises doubts about the feasibility of these procedures within one day, considering that the territory of the Municipality of Tropoja extends over 200 km.

Two concrete cases with suspicions of forgery

The first case is related to the Merturaj bridge, in the village of Curraj i Poshtëm, Lekbibaj Administrative Unit, for which a fund of about 18 million lek is requested.
