Disappearance of Leonard Thodhori and Fatmir Sulovari / The Prosecution sends 3

Today, the Saranda Prosecution Office has completed the investigations and sent three people to trial in connection with the kidnapping of Leonard Thodhori and Fatmir Sulovari.

Event that occurred in 2023 in the city of Saranda.

AM, SL and SB have been sent to trial, accused of "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage", "False statements before a judicial police officer" and "Trafficking in motor vehicles".

We recall that Sulovari and Thodhori were taken hostage in April 223. Since then, there has been no trace of them or any sign of life.

 

Prosecutor's Office Announcement

 

The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Saranda, completed the investigations and sent citizens AM, SB, and SL to trial for the criminal offenses "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage", "False statements before a judicial police officer" and "Trafficking in motor vehicles" provided for by articles 109/3, 305/b and 141/a/2 of the Criminal Code.

At the conclusion of the investigations into criminal proceedings no. 169/2023 and 369/2025 (separate from criminal proceedings no. 169/2023) regarding the kidnapping of citizens L.Th. and FS, the criminal case against the defendants as follows is sent for trial:

1. A. M, suspected of the criminal offense "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage" provided for in Article 109/3 and 25 of the Criminal Code;

2.S. B, suspected of the criminal offense of "False statements before a judicial police officer" provided for by Article 305/bi of the Criminal Code; and

3. S. L, suspected of the criminal offense of "Trafficking in motor vehicles" provided for by article 141/a/2 of the Criminal Code.

The Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Saranda is continuing investigations to find the kidnapped citizens and identify other suspected persons involved in this event.
