The Democratic Party of Shkodra has reacted harshly to Mayor Benet Beci, accusing him of corruption, concealment of assets and money laundering.

The Chairperson of the Shkodra Democratic Party, Eliona Shkreli, stated that Benet Beci no longer has any legitimacy to lead the Shkodra Municipality and should immediately leave office.

The statement mentioned several properties suspected of being unjustified, including luxury apartments, garages declared to have symbolic value, and properties in tourist areas, while, according to the DP, Beci has also benefited from housing as a homeless person.

The Democratic Party of Shkodra has called on the new leader of SPAK, Klodian Braho, to launch an in-depth investigation into fraud and concealment of assets, also warning of a new criminal complaint against the mayor for abuse of office and money laundering.

Shkodra today has a Mayor who was elected with stolen and bought votes. This mayor is now officially indicted by SPAK for active corruption.

Benet Beci should not stay at the head of the Shkodra Municipality for another day, but should flee in shame together with the Street Barber as partners of Belinda Balluku, now all defendants by SPAK.

But, SPAK's Bennett behaves as a ruler above the law, protected by silence, propaganda, and the criminal power he has had and still has.

700 million lek disappeared from citizens' taxes when SPAK's Beneti held the position of KESH administrator.

No explanation! No responsibility! Only arrogance and deceit from Balluk's criminal team!

This is not a political accusation at all, but a crime committed by this criminal group, of which Benet Beci has already been proven to be a part, a group that has stolen Albanian taxes.

What is known today is only the tip of the iceberg of a scheme built for years, a scheme of theft that only these people know how to do, money laundering and plundering of public property, that have no end.

Let's dwell a little on Benet Beci's wealth declarations that he himself declared to the ILDKPI, which are an insult to the intelligence of every citizen. Open fraud, concealment of wealth, intentional distortion of real values.

With an official's salary, SPAK's Beneti claims wealth that even oligarchs cannot justify. Setting a precedent, for the first time in Albania, a mayor was also entrusted with the position of political leader of the District, and all this was done only so that SPAK's Beneti would have political protection under the guise of political leader.

Two luxury apartments – 370 thousand euros, purchased with personal income, valued at this value, in fact a great and ridiculous surprise. An insulting joke for every Albanian citizen.

192 square meters of garages in Tirana, declared to be worth 7,000 euros. How can state institutions remain silent about this ridiculous and mocking assessment of Albanians?

Mr. Beci's wealth continues with a luxurious apartment in Lalëzit Bay, purchased for 47 million lekë. But who believes it so far? Who is lying to the state here? This is beyond any blindness….

It doesn't end there, properties in Prush, in Voskopoja, properties collected as loot of power! But citizens should know that Benet Beci also benefits from an apartment as a "homeless person" from the state. These are just what Beci has declared

And the question arises, why this silence?

This is not just injustice but fraud and forgery.

The Beci family administers courses and training centers, certainly suspected of being money laundering machines, where education is used as a cover for corruption. A typical model of a criminal group where the Street Barber, the criminal Beci of Rilindja and their boss Balluku are the true face of Albanian tax abuses.

Today, as mayor of Shkodra, elected with bought votes and with gang support, Benet Beci is carrying out the most dangerous phase of the crime:

concreting, capturing territory and destroying the city of Shkodra! Urban plans that are being changed for Bennett's clients and bargains.

They are trying to massacre the historic area of ??Shkodra. This is not development. This is money laundering with concrete.

The Democratic Party of Shkodra publicly calls on the new leader of SPAK, Mr. Klodian Braho, to launch an investigation for fraud and concealment of assets, not as has been done so far, with silence. A thorough investigation into Benet Beci is necessary.
