Lawyer Maks Haxhia has stated before the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime that his client, Mr. Agasi, has no connection to the tenders or the charges raised by the prosecution.

He added that the footage mentioned in the investigation serves as a security instrument, as according to him, Agas's business has been at risk from attempted theft.

"Mr. Agasi is not a person employed by the state, he is a person who carries out business activities. As far as I know, there is no provision in the criminal code that says you should be accused of free initiative."

Agasi has no application in the tenders of the AKSHI. He does not have it in the scope of his activity. Agasi has not benefited from any tender from budget finances. There is no illegal activity.

As for the filming, there is a security tool there, as there was an attempt to steal Agas's business. My client has not left, he is abroad to conclude a deal.

"When he returns, he will maintain his position. SPAK is compromising the release of this data. He does not know the person who was taken hostage at all," the lawyer said.
