The new Deputy Chairman of the GJKKO is elected

The Deputy President of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime has been elected. Dhimitër Lara will hold this position.

The decision was made at a meeting of the Judges of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime held under the direction of the acting Deputy President, Saida Dollani.

Lara takes office at the end of the mandate of the Deputy President, Ms. Saida Dollani, who served as the Deputy President of the GJKKO for 3 years, with the powers of the President from 23.12.2022 to 23.12.2025.

Magistrate Dhimitër Lara has served as a judge of the Court of Appeal since 05.04.2004, initially as a judge in the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes (05.04.2004-19.12.2019) and from 19.12.2019 onwards in the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime. /CNA
