Elections for Himar Municipality/ Electoral College approves the deadlines

The Electoral College has approved the procedural deadlines related to the partial elections for mayor in Himarë Municipality, which will take place on August 4, 2024.

The Municipality of Himarë and its dependent institutions are obliged to report to the Central Election Commission, all activities of a public nature that they plan to develop in the period from July 26 to August 4.

The central public institutions, their dependent bodies and their local branches, as well as state agencies and/or enterprises, have the same obligation.

Political parties, which have the right to submit members to the KVC, no later than July 19, while their appointment must be made no later than July 20.

As for the members of the GNV, the names must be submitted by July 24 and their appointment must be made by July 25.

Parties must be registered as electoral subjects no later than 16:00 on July 22, while coalitions must submit the request for registration no later than 12:00 on July 24.

The candidacy documents are submitted to KZAZ no later than 4:00 p.m. on July 25, meanwhile, the election campaign for Himar Municipality officially begins on July 27./ CNA
