She was suffering from a serious illness/ The head of the DP women's association in Devoll passes away

Ardita Kapo, the leader of the DP women's wing in Devoll, has passed away at the age of 38, after a long battle with a serious illness.

The bitter news was announced by DP MP Bledjon Nallbati.

"We lost Ardita... A young girl, an extraordinary woman, a friend who fought to the end with courage and hope. For years she faced a serious illness, but never lost her strength, smile and love for life," Nallbati writes, adding that she was "the voice of women" and a leader who served the people with dedication.

Ardita Kapo will be remembered for her political commitment, spiritual strength and love for her family. Sincere condolences to her family, friends and all those who were lucky enough to know her. Rest in peace, Ardita, writes the MP./ CNA
