The murder of the 7-year-old/ Bledi Çuçi deepens the scandal

When three days have passed since the Himara tragedy, the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuçi was reminded to react.

Instead of giving an account that the victims are gathering on the roads and seas, he defended himself by attacking the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha.

According to him, there is an attempt to produce facts to illustrate Sali Berisha's ready accusations against me after the last tragedy in Himara.

“Për respekt të opinionit publik, që me të drejtë është i ngarkuar nga tragjedia e vajzës 7-vjeçare dhe dhimbja e familjes së saj, dua të sqaroj se sajesat me emrin tim dhe një shoqatë velierash sportive që kam krijuar me miq pasionantë të tyre, nuk kanë lidhje me asnjë biznes dhe aq më tepër me skafe apo gomone.

I hedh poshtë me neveri këto sajesa, pasi duan të keqpërdorin në mënyrë të neveritshme këtë ngjarje tragjike, për ta mbajtur gjallë për hallet e tyre politike”, ka shkruar Çuçi që më shumë duket i prekur se i është zbuluar biznesi i skafeve sesa tragjedia që ka ndodhur.

Më tej ai ka shkruar se ka hestur pasi është përpjekur të flasë me veprime konkrete.

"During these difficult days for every Albanian, but especially for the girl's family and for us who are responsible for the safety of their lives, I have tried to speak with concrete actions against the perpetrators of that tragedy, who are now before justice, including also the entire chain of command of the Vlora Border Police.

I think this is the right way to respect the pain of the girl's family and her relatives. The road to face the mud of Sali Berisha is 30 years old and does not challenge me. We simply have an obligation to the Albanians to separate the fate of Albania from its fate and mud", concludes Çuçi's reaction. /CNA.al
