A 43-year-old man was arrested in Vorë for placing sports bets with his

The police of Tirana arrested today the 43-year-old with the initials M. M from Vora, after pages and links were found on his mobile phone that served for placing sports bets.

Police Notification:

"The 43-year-old was arrested for carrying out the illegal activity of placing sports bets through his mobile phone. 

The mobile device used for this illegal activity is seized as material evidence.

Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of Police Station No. 7, following the work of identifying and cracking down on illegal activities in the field of gambling, have intensified controls and have hit a case of this activity.

During the checks carried out in a bar in Vorë, the citizen MM, 43 years old, a resident of Vorë, was found, in whose mobile phone, the Police services found pages and links that served for placing sports bets.         

The mobile device used for this activity was seized as material evidence.

Following the actions, he was arrested in flagrante delicto and the materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further procedural actions."
