The Alliance for the Protection of the Theater has announced that on April 5 at 11:00, oppositionists and citizens will gather in front of the City Hall and demand the urgent resignation of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

They will then move before the Special Prosecutor's Office to notify them of the request.

This move comes after the sensational arrests of the directors of Veliaj for tender abuse and profiting of millions from the tenders.

They have called on every citizen to join their action.

"Dear Centralists, Friends and Supporters of the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater.

The events of the last few days related to abuses in the Municipality of Tirana showed:

1. How right it was that our center entered its seventh year.

2. How fair and legitimate is AMT's legal battle.
