The Institute of Geosciences has today shared a forecast for weather conditions for this Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

According to the forecast, the beginning of this week will continue to be accompanied by intense rainfall in some of the country's regions.

Meanwhile, in areas above 1000 meters above sea level, there will be precipitation in the form of snow.

Also, regarding unstable weather conditions, IGJEUM predicts a risk of several problems from rainfall, such as falling rocks and debris and flooding in urban areas.

This afternoon, Monday, November 24, light rainfall is expected in all regions.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25, intense rainfall is expected in the Shkodër and Kukës regions, while moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected in the Vlorë and Gjirokastër regions, accompanied by thunderstorms. Light to locally moderate rainfall is expected in the Dibër, Lezha and Korçë regions, accompanied by thunderstorms, while light rainfall is expected in the other regions.

In the north, at altitudes above 1000 m above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.

Tomorrow's storms and high intensity rainfall may create various problems, such as falling rocks and debris and water flooding in localized urban areas, depending on the sewage system in the regions of Shkodër, Kukës, Vlorë and Gjirokastër.
