He stole money and valuables from businesses/ 27-year-old arrested in Shijak

A 27-year-old man has been arrested by police after stealing sums of money and valuables from businesses in the Shijak area. The young man, with the initials RT, was put in handcuffs.

Police have uncovered and documented three thefts at a market and two businesses in the villages of Borak and Xhafzotaj in Shijak. Work is also underway to document several other thefts allegedly committed by the 27-year-old.

As material evidence, the clothes used during the thefts were seized from this citizen.

The police operation codenamed "Shumat" is finalized.

A 27-year-old man who stole sums of money and valuables from businesses in the Shijak area is identified, captured and put in handcuffs.

Three thefts in a market and two businesses were uncovered and documented, and work continues to document with legal evidence several other thefts, suspected of being committed by this citizen.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shijak Police Station, after intensive work to uncover and legally document several thefts that occurred in businesses in the Shijak area, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Shumat".

As part of the operation, citizen RT, 27 years old, resident of Shijak, was arrested and detained.

The investigation revealed that this citizen is also suspected of being the perpetrator of three previous thefts at various businesses in the Shijak area, where he stole sums of money, valuables and various accessories.  

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to uncover and document with legal evidence several other cases of theft suspected to have been committed by this citizen.

As material evidence, the clothes used during the thefts were seized from this citizen.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Durrës, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Theft". / CNA
