Journalists will protest today at 19:00 in front of the Prime Minister's Office, after the incident that happened between Edi Rama and journalist Klevi Muka. After the latter asked a question to Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka if she had implemented the code of ethics and had met her strategic investor husband in the company of government representatives, Rama returned the answer.
When the Prime Minister refused to answer, Rama sent the journalist for 3 months to "re-education", excluding him from the conferences.
Journalists today will demand the right to freedom of speech, under the motto "Re-education today, Internment yesterday".
But relations between Rama and journalists during his 9 years in power have never been good. Sometimes calling them a pot, sometimes appearing insulted and sometimes ironic, the prime minister tries to silence those who go against and outside of his scenario.
