President Ilir Meta has addressed a letter to the President, Joe Biden, in the framework of the 246th anniversary of the independence of the USA.

In his message, Meta emphasizes that congratulations also go to all Albanian-Americans, who have continuously contributed to the strengthening of our relations, serving as a connecting bridge for our long-term and strong friendship.

"Dear Mr. President, Your Excellency Joseph R. Biden Jr

The year 2022 marks the 246th anniversary of the independence of the United States, and the commemoration of the journey and sacrifices of the great American people, in the path of freedom, democracy and prosperity.

Arritjet mbresëlënëse të vendit Tuaj, kanë qenë dhe mbeten një burim frymëzimi për të gjitha kombet e tjera që aspirojnë për parimet universale të demokracisë, lirive dhe dinjitetit njerëzor.

I nderuar Zoti President,

Është një kënaqësi e veçantë për mua që sot më 4 Korrik, në këtë ditë të shënuar, në emrin tim dhe të popullit shqiptar, t'Ju uroj Ju dhe popullit amerikan "Gëzuar Festën e Pavarësisë", si dhe t'Ju shpreh urimet më të mira për shëndetin dhe lumturinë Tuaj dhe përparimin e sigurtë të Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës!

Ky mesazh urimi iu shkon edhe të gjithë shqiptaro - amerikanëve, të cilët kanë kontribuar pa rreshtur në forcimin e marrëdhënieve tona duke shërbyer si një urë lidhëse për miqësinë tonë afatgjatë e të fortë.
