Durrës Police, at the end of the "Ring" operation, managed to seize 2275 tons of oil, which was smuggled into Albania.

The transport was carried out from Libya to our country, contraband.

For this, 4 foreign citizens ended up in handcuffs, meanwhile 6 others will be processed in a free state.

Durrës/Consecutive operations continue to crackdown on criminal activity in the field of smuggling goods for which excise duty is paid.

The coded police operation "Ring" is finalized, 2275 tons of oil are seized.

Operacioni, pas hetimit disamujor nga Departamenti i Policisë Kriminale në Policinë e Shtetit, Drejtoria Vendore e Policisë Durrës dhe Policia Kufitare Durrës, me mbështetjen e Kapitenerisë Detare Durrës, Rojës Bregdetare dhe Autoritetit Portual Durrës, nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë së Rrethit Gjyqësor Durrës.

Transportuan me anije çisternë, nga Libia në Shqipëri, 2275 ton naftë kontrabandë, vihen në pranga 4 shtetas të huaj, procedohen në gjendje të lirë 6 bashkëpunëtorët e tyre.

Në vijim të punës për goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale në fushën e kontrabandës me mallra, strukturat e Policisë së Shtetit, pas një hetimi disamujor nën drejtimin e Prokurorisë pranë Gjykatës së Rrethit Gjyqësor Durrës, me mbështetjen e Kapitenerisë Detare Durrës, Rojës Bregetare dhe Autoritetit Portual Durrës, kanë organizuar dhe finalizuar operacionin policor të koduar “Ring”.

Si rezultat i këtij operacioni janë arrestuar në flagrancë shtetasit:

Z. A., 54 vjeç (kapiteni i anijes), M. A., 25 vjeç, A. A., 43 vjeç, të tre banues në Libi dhe B. T., 25 vjeç, banues në Siri.

Gjithashtu filloi procedimi penal në gjendje të lirë për shtetasit:

A. B., 43 vjeç, A. A., 46 vjeç, A. N., 40 vjeç, A. E., 53 vjeç, A. H., 21 vjeç dhe A. K., 29 vjeç, të gjithë banues në Libi.

These citizens, in cooperation with each other, have smuggled 2275 tons of oil, suspected of smuggling, from Libya to Albania, with a tanker ship.

As material evidence, the tanker, the amount of oil and some mobile devices were seized.

The materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of the Durrës Judicial District, for further action, for the criminal offenses "Smuggling of goods for which excise duty is paid", "Storage or deposit of contraband goods" and "Smuggling of the captain, pilot or crew", of carried out in cooperation.
