The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke about the interim decision taken by Sokol Sadushi in the service of Erion Veliaj.

According to Berisha, this act does not only serve Veliaj, but also drug lords or heads of criminal organizations.

But dozens of drug lords, heads of criminal organizations, benefit from the 'Veliaj' decision. The court session before the United Colleges will be held at 09:30. Sokol Sadushi has issued an interim decision, exercising this duty for the first time, to initiate the procedure for the partial amendment of the unified practice of the United Colleges of the Supreme Court of 2011 on personal security measures.

In the interim decision taken on March 9, 2026 by Sokol Sadushi, it is emphasized that it has been decided:

1-Initiation of the procedure for the partial amendment of the unified judicial practice, regarding decision no. 7, dated 14.10.2011 of the Joint Panels of the Supreme Court.
