Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the Constitutional Court's decision, which stated that the closure of TikTok violated freedom of expression.
According to Rama, the Constitutional Court's decision is a decision that encourages defamers.
"The Constitutional Court believes that 90% of Albanian parents and teachers were wrong when they demanded the closure of TIKTOK!
Fortunately, we reopened TIKTOK thanks to the understanding we found from the company for the extra measures it took, precisely thanks to the closure, because if it were up to the Constitutional Court, it would not have been closed at all and the positive measures would not have been possible!
Thanks to that closure today, parents and teachers can be a little more relieved, while thanks to this decision that I don't want to name, slanderers can feel encouraged! ", writes Rama on the X platform./ CNA
