Oliver Varhelyi, Commissioner for EU Neighborhood and Enlargement Policy

Oliver Varhelyi, the commissioner for EU neighborhood and enlargement policy, has spoken about the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During a visit to Sarajevo, Varhelyi said that the EU's recommendation to give Bosnia the status of a candidate for membership in the Union is clear and firm.

He declared that the European path is open, but added that internationals have "great expectations from Bosnia and Herzegovina".

"We want to see tangible and clear results. It is necessary for the Council of Ministers in the old meeting to approve all the measures that are important in that way", underlined the European commissioner./ BA - CNA.al
