They were raped by 8 people in Montenegro/ The three young men arrive in

Following the information about the three Albanian citizens who were raped in Montenegro, we inform you that:

The Montenegrin police have carried out all the first procedural actions and the three Albanian citizens have given statements in the presence of a lawyer (a connoisseur of the Albanian language) and representatives of the Albanian embassy in Montenegro. At the end of the first actions, the three Albanian citizens, of their own accord, left for Albania.  

The leaders of the State Police have asked their Montenegrin counterparts, for security reasons, to accompany the three Albanian citizens with police officers to the border.

The three Albanian citizens arrived at the Muriqan PKK at around 05:30 and were received by the leaders of the Muriqan border crossing point and the Shkodër Local Border and Migration Directorate, who accompanied them to the Shkodër Regional Hospital, where the Albanian citizens underwent all medical checks, from which they resulted without problems.

Regarding the procedural actions and the identification of the perpetrators, according to the information sent by the colleagues in Montenegro, it turns out that:

The police have undertaken actions with the aim of clarifying all the circumstances in which the Albanian citizens were injured.

Surveillance camera videos from buildings near the incident were checked.

Through the operative work in the field, the police officers have identified three people from Herceg Novi, as the perpetrators of the physical attack, whose identity was then determined and measures will be taken for their capture and arrest.

The event has been sent for competence to the Prosecutor, who will declare the legal qualification of the case.

Investigations continue intensively to identify the other perpetrators involved and to clarify and fully legally document this event.
