Montenegrin authorities have identified three of the perpetrators of violence against Albanian citizens in Montenegro.

According to information from the Montenegrin police, the cause of the incident was a traffic situation.

 "The police went to the scene where they found three people, all Albanian citizens, who had injuries and then went to seek medical help. The police have taken actions within their jurisdiction to determine all the circumstances in where the injured persons were, and to clarify the incident", the announcement states.

It is added that the police officers have identified three people from Herceg Novi as perpetrators of the physical attack, whose identity was determined later.

"The competent prosecutor has been notified of the incident, who will declare his legal qualification after undertaking the measures and further actions ordered in relation to these persons, but also for the identification of other possible perpetrators, for whom the public will is announced below. The attacked persons were in a vehicle without license plates of the Republic of Albania and according to the information so far, ie. the incident occurred due to a traffic situation", the police announcement states./ CNA
