The Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, shared some details on the mega-operation 'Ura' by SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia to strike one of the most powerful criminal groups in Albania. In his speech at the joint press conference, Proda said that 349 police officers were engaged in this operation.
Proda said that the scale of the operation was very large, with a large number of employees from both countries.
Proda added that this operation highlighted the excellent cooperation between Albania and Italy.
"It was an excellent cooperation between the two countries. The police of both countries were involved in fulfilling the measures of the Special Prosecution. 349 police officers were engaged in this operation. And with this number you understand the extent of the work and the operation. I thank the police forces that were engaged. I appreciate the determination of the State Police in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior", - said Proda./CNA
