Gunfire at a bar in Kosovo/ Three people end up in hospital

Gunfire was reported in the early hours of this morning at a bar in Deçan, Kosovo. According to the police spokesman for the Peja region, Fadil Gashi, three people were injured in the shooting and were taken to the Emergency Department of the Peja Hospital.

It is also reported that the suspected perpetrator of the shooting has been arrested and is in custody. Meanwhile, the causes of the shooting are still unknown, while the police are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

"On the 13th, at around 00:18, the police were notified that there were gunshots in a bar. The police went to the scene, where they noticed three people lying in a bar, injured by a gunshot. The same were taken to the QMF and then to the Emergency Department of the Peja Hospital. A suspect was arrested and, by order of the state prosecutor, was taken into custody for 48 hours. All competent units went to the scene to clarify the circumstances of the incident, while 1 weapon and 1 magazine with 9 cartridges were seized", said Gashi. /CNA
