"Ready to cooperate with anyone"/ Bani: There are no courts, trials

The Deputy President of the Special Court, Erjon Bani, in a statement to the media, said that he stands by all the statements made yesterday regarding the security of judges.

Bani said that it is a fact that the courts do not have comfortable conditions. The head of the GJKKO stated that there are cases when court sessions are held in judges' offices and not in courtrooms, as the latter are lacking.

Focusing on increasing security measures, Bani said that any additional measure by any government is acceptable. He further said that they are ready to cooperate with anyone to guarantee the safety of citizens.

 

"After the meeting ends, there will be a statement and the media will be informed of any decisions."

I stand by all the statements I made yesterday. It is a universally known fact, all courts do not have comfortable conditions. In order for the service to be provided as best as possible, the best possible conditions are needed. Security is the minimum. If trials are held in judges' offices because there are no courts, justice cannot be done. For us, any measure to increase security measures is acceptable. We are ready to cooperate with anyone. The security of judges is essential", said Bani.
