A new report published by Radio Free Europe, based on data from the Speedtest platform for July 2025, shows that citizens of North Macedonia enjoy the fastest mobile internet in the Western Balkans region. According to the data, the average mobile internet speed in this country reaches 161.53 mbps, leaving behind Albania and Kosovo.

North Macedonia – 161.53 mbps
Albania – 104.11 mbps
Kosovo – 97.43 mbps
Montenegro – 80.27 mbps
Serbia – 71.70 mbps
Bosnia and Herzegovina – 29.65 mbps
On the other hand, when it comes to fixed internet (at home or office), Serbia has the highest speed in the region, with 92.21 mbps, leaving behind Montenegro and Albania.
