Subsidies for farmers who plant wheat/ Final decision of the Government

The government has decided that for every farmer who plants 1 hectare of wheat, he will receive support of 30 thousand new lek.

The Minister of Agriculture has announced that due to the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, the Government has made the next move.

Also, the Government has decided to increase the budget by 200 million lek for fishermen, who will be reimbursed with 40 thousand lek per liter of oil.

"Agriculture has adopted an important decision. Which has to do with increasing the size of the national financing scheme. 1.2 billion ALL are added to the budget of the national scheme, bringing the budget to 4.9 billion ALL, the largest ever made available. It has been an almost difficult year in meeting the costs, our farmers have resisted. We have had a good season of wheat production, the barns are full of tears. We thought of introducing a special measure, farmers who produce more than 1 hectare of wheat, will receive support of 30,000 lek per hectare", announced Krifca. /CNA.al
