International running marathon/ The police reveal the plan of measures: Roads

On 30.07.2022, at 19:00, in the city of Pogradec, the association "Maraton Albania" and the municipality of Pogradec, as part of the plan of activities for participation in the National and International Marathons, will organize a marathon sports activity, which includes two disciplines:   

The first discipline (21 km), which starts from the village of Lin, continues along the road axis by the lake and ends in the town of Pogradec ("Një Maji" flower garden, former workers' camp);

Disiplina e dytë (10 km), e cila straton nga lulishtja “Një Maji” dhe vazhdon drejt fshatit turistik Drilon, duke përfunduar tek pika e nisjes, në qendër të Pogradecit.

Për mbarëvajtjen e këtij aktiviteti, strukturat e Policisë do të marrin masa për ruajtjen e rendit publik, krijimin e parametrave të sigurisë rrugore, sigurimin e qarkullimit të lirë dhe pa rreziqe për garuesit, si dhe parandalimin e ngjarjeve rrugore. Për këtë qëllim, informojmë të gjithë drejtuesit e mjeteve se:

The road axis Lin-Pogradec-Tushemisht (to the exit of the city, Buçimas village) will be blocked from 18:30 to 21:00, with the end of this activity. We clarify that even in the interior of the city of Pogradec, the roads "Dëshmorët e Pojska" will be blocked; "Kajo Carnation"; "Gani Butka"; "Sul Starovari", according to the predetermined schedule.  

The Korçë Local Police Directorate asks for the understanding of road users, for the prohibition of the circulation of vehicles, on the above-mentioned road axes, from the moment of the start of this activity until its end. During the movement restriction schedule, it is recommended to use the other alternative route, Tirana-Elbasan-Gramsh-Moglicë-Maliq-Korçë.
