SPAK interrogates Elton Qynon/Reagon, head of the Union of Journalists

The head of the Union of Journalists, Aleksandër Çipa, spoke about the detention for more than 10 hours of the journalist Elton Qyno in SPAK.

Chipa said that it is being followed very closely and that the reaction will be as it deserves to be.

"If we are dealing with a case that is called unprecedented for the report of the journalist's right not to reveal the source and the insistence of justice to have that source, then of course this will take on another dimension and in this case they will be involved not only the elements of advocacy but also to dimension it as a story that is new and has its own unknowns. We are following the case very closely. We are waiting for an official announcement as soon as possible. Our reaction will be as it deserves to be,''  Çipa said.

Journalist Elton Qyno has been summoned to SPAK in connection with a file under investigation by prosecutor Behar Dibra.

Qyno went to the Special Prosecutor's Office around 10:00 this morning and testified for several hours./ CNA
