CNA has been denouncing the mega-affair of the incinerators and the people behind this scheme for years.

CNA has published documents proving that Mirel Mërtiri, described by SPAK as the "brain" of the incinerators, and Klodian Zoto are the real owners of the incinerators. This was confirmed this Tuesday also by SPAK.

The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime declares that there is evidence proving that Zoto and Mërtiri are the "de facto" owners of the company "Integrated Energy BV SPV" sh.pk, which won the concession contract for the Tirana incinerator, as well as of its parent company "Geogenix BV", established in the Netherlands under the name "Integrated Energy BV"

SPAK also declares that Zoto and Mërtiri are the people who guided and made the decisions for the Tirana incinerator company and its mother.

"From the acts administered up to this stage of the investigation, in relation to the concession contract no. 6597 prot, dated 31.08.2017 "Construction of landfill, incinerator and rehabilitation of existing storage sites, Tirana", between the Contracting Authority Ministry of the Environment and the company "Integrated Energy BVSPV" sh.pk, with investment costs provided for in the concession contract in the value of 128,248,330 Euros (one hundred and twenty-eight million two hundred and forty-eight thousand, three hundred and thirty) without VAT, it has resulted that the citizens Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri are the "de facto" owners of the company "Integrated Energy BV SPV" sh .pk, which has won the concession contract "Construction of landfill, incinerator and rehabilitation of existing storage sites, Tirana", and are the "de facto" owners of its parent company, established in the Netherlands,

From the evidence obtained during the investigation, it was found that the citizens Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri used other persons and companies to hide their traces as the real owners of the concession company "Integrated Energy BV SPV" sh.pk

It has been proven that the citizens Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri are the people who guided and made the decisions regarding the concession company "Integrated Energy BV SPV" sh.pk and the parent company in Holland with the previous name "Integrated Energy BV", currently "Geogenix BV", which coincides from the moment of establishment of these companies and continues ", it is stated, among other things, in the announcement of SPAK.

This confirms what CNA has been saying for a long time, the owners of the Tirana incinerator are Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri, who have organized the whole scheme of a mega-affair./ CNA.al
