The policeman goes to work drunk, has an accident on the road/ Arrested by AMP

The Police Surveillance Agency (Elbasan - Korçë Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer, the 58-year-old Inspector with the initials R.XH., with the duty of the Service Corps at the Pustec Border Police Station, in the Korçë Local Border and Migration Directorate.

He is suspected of the criminal offense of "Driving vehicles in an irregular manner".

Yesterday around 17:25, while driving on the national road Korçë - Bilisht, he was involved in a road accident with material damage, with a van type vehicle.

The tests performed at the scene showed that the police officer had consumed alcohol beyond the permitted limits.

He was going to take office.

The procedural materials will be forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korçë General Jurisdiction./CNA.al
