The High Court has dismissed the appeal of the company "Gogel", owned by Arbër Veliaj, brother of the arrested mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, regarding the seizure of several computer devices seized during investigations by SPAK.

Arbër Veliaj is under investigation for suspicions of a possible money laundering scheme in collaboration with the "One" telephone company.

According to the investigations, it is suspected that Arbër Veliaj, after the company "One" won tenders from the Municipality of Tirana, transferred part of the money to "Google" through contracts for advertising services.

The investigation is also related to the proceedings against the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and his wife, Ajola Xoxa.

As part of this investigation, inspections and seizures were also carried out at other advertising market companies, as part of SPAK's verifications of the financial connections between them. /CNA
